The dress code is formal. We encourage men to wear suits and ties, and for women to wear long dresses.
As temperatures may drop in the evening, consider bringing a light jacket or wrap.
Additionally, since the grounds feature grass, anyone wearing heels may want to opt for a block heel for added comfort and stability.

Due to limited space, we kindly ask that you refer to your invitation for information about plus-ones. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Although we adore your children, we ask that they stay home for our wedding.

Predominantly outside! The ceremony and cocktail hour will require walking on grass. As temperatures are unpredictable in mid-June in Tahoe and can drop in the evenings, we highly recommend bringing a warm layer.

South Lake Tahoe and Glenbrook are at approximately 6,250 feet. Please note that at this altitude, it is very important to hydrate more frequently than you would normally. In addition, be aware that the effects of alcohol may be more exacerbated at altitude. Finally, some guests may wish to take altitude sickness medication.

Yes, transportation will be arranged between downtown South Lake Tahoe and all wedding events (except for the Sunday brunch). More details will be shared closer to the date.
-
Due to the very, very limited amount of parking within Glenbrook, personal transportation outside of shuttles on the wedding day will not be permitted within the Glenbrook gates.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift to us. However, if you would like to give something, we have a registry available - see the tab on our website. No gifts are expected—your company is more than enough!

Yes. However, please note that Glenbrook is gated and has very limited parking. If you wish to enter the gate, please tell the gatekeeper that you are visiting the home of Standish O’Grady and they should let you through.

Please be aware that due to the unfortunately very high fire risk in the area, smoking and fire of all kinds are strictly prohibited by all our venues - we thank you for understanding and cooperating!
